The First People Group launches Clarity Coaching and Counselling - making counselling affordable for all
The growth of First People Housing over the last couple of years has been amazing. From increases in staff, clientele and houses, the trajectory of the company has risen above even the most ambitious plans established by the leadership team three years ago.
Even though many businesses would consolidate in this scenario, FPH does not want to limit its upscaling to staff and clients. Instead, it will now increase its range of services and continue to grow. With that in mind, The First People Group is proud to announce the launch of Clarity Coaching and Counselling.
The mission for Clarity is clear: To make high-quality counselling and coaching accessible to all, while offering specialised expertise in addiction, Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD) and pornography-related challenges.
Reading this, you may ask why FPH has decided to venture further afield. There are several reasons for this. Primarily, the demand for mental health services has grown rapidly since the pandemic, with NHS delays encouraging alternative providers to meet these needs. Also, the International Classification of Diseases formally recognised CBSD as a disease in the ICD-11. The ICD is developed and annually updated by the World Health Organization, and the formal recognition of this illness has opened a need for professional support. These factors also coincide with increased investment in corporate mental health and FPH believes it is uniquely positioned to provide support in these areas.
Clarity will provide accessible, affordable, and specialist mental health support for all. Harnessing decades of experience, Clarity hopes to replicate the success enjoyed by First People Housing to make a real difference to many lives. Under the leadership of Wendy Nee and Jo Arnold, the vision for Clarity is to grow to be recognised as a leading UK provider of ethical, specialist counselling and coaching services.
Clarity Coaching and Counselling (CCC) will provide free and affordable counselling for clients on low incomes or facing financial hardship, calculated through a sliding scale model. These sessions will be delivered in partnership with funding bodies. Furthermore, private one-to-one and couples therapy sessions will be offered by the business, with a specialist focus on addiction, problematic pornography use and CBSD.
Moreover, CCC will offer NLP coaching and specialist CBSD services, including but not limited to treatment planning and relapse prevention programmes. Lastly, the opportunity for businesses to adopt CCC models and packages will be offered through corporate wellbeing offerings. Clarity will provide workshops on wellbeing in the workplace and leadership coaching for executives. HR departments will also be offered awareness and response training in the areas of CBSD and addiction.
The offerings available through CCC are varied and in truth, they can be adopted by many people and limitless businesses throughout the country as the services will not only be dedicated to Hertfordshire. Clarity wishes to help are individuals seeking affordable counselling, LGBTQ+ clients seeking culturally competent services, employers invested in the wellbeing of their staff and anybody looking for discreet specialist support.
The First People Group content team will have the website up and running before September and the pricing, services breakdown and more content will be available to anybody, or any company, considering these services. There will also be information under all the First People Group social media channels. Stay tuned for more information.
